Guys, just wanna update you about the issues discussed on the Team Leaders meeting held this morning at Firebase Delta conducted by Sir Recon 0-6. I represented our team since nobody was there to stand for us.
1st Subject: "IRONMAN THE ZOMBIE" - since its getting rampant and EAF officials has been hearing numerous complaints about these guys, responsibility would now fall on the team leader's shoulders to make sure this does not happen. If it does though, it would be up to the team leaders themselves to talk to their respective members. Another measure is the assignment of more marshalls to officiate games. These marshalls would always be by the side of the suspected "IRONMAN" whenever the guy plays, more to humiliate than anything else. Then there would be "armed marshalls" and "IRONMANS" would be shot on the spot if they are not akcnowledging "hits" . Everyone is enjoined to avoid being "IRONMANS" to preserve to sanctity of the game,, otherwise, what are playin for?
2nd Subjec: Basic EAF rules were reminded and re-enforced, like no hit-calling, no swearing, "dead" players compromising the positions of the enemy, etc. "HIT" players should walk near the perimeter fence when walking out and not in the middle where they are exposed to "crossfire", and/or obstructing players' line of sight.
3rd Subject: There's a planned fund raiser by the federation every week, by way of "Raffle Draws". Raffle coupons would be AED20.00 and there should be a minimum of 100 members playing for the day. Prizes to include AEG's, Vests, Masks, etc., players who are planning to sell some of their excess armory items are also welcome, provided that its still "in good condition". For those members who wants to sell items, kindly get in touch with Sir Peter Pan. Proceeds from the raffle draws will go EAF coffers and would be used for funding EAF projects in the future. Raffle draws will be held every week starting next Friday 12/09/2008. It was re-iterated that intel about the raffle draws should be among EAF members only and that it should not be divulged to anybody outside EAF and passing of information regarding this should be discreet.
4th Subject: For emergencies like the one that happened last Friday 29/08/2008 (one player suffered a mild heart attack), routine procedure would be to stash away all AEG's and paraphernalias, and lose the BDU's in favor of civilian clothing to avoid any unnecessary hassles with the ambulance parak escort, since most probably, they would have no idea of the airsoft manuevers we are doing every Fridays and Tuesdays.
Well i think i got it covered, thats just about it. Please try and pass this among FAST operatives (for those without access yet), and for those who does, tell them to log on and read this.
